Cherry (cerasus avium — latin bird cherry) grows wild in South Europe, on Caucasus and in the Asia Minor. It was cultivated in these places during prehistoric times.

It was settling apart in many countries. It grows in small areas of Ukraine central regions.

Merry tree lives up to 100 years. It bears fruits during 4-7 years.

It looks like cherry. Merry wood is thicker and harder, than cherry wood,
that is why its usage is preferable. This tree is inclined to worm-holes.

Merry wood has small hardness in comparison with oak and ash, therefore the usage of goods made of merry is preferable in the dwelling apartments.
